Hello,

I just setup a RM9200-EK with a flash card containing a Linux image for the lower card slot and a SD Card containing the file system for the upper slot. I got all the images from our software supplier where everything works fine. Only on my system the SD card can not be accessed.

To exlude hardware defects: How can I test the upper SD card socket with a blank SD card?

Is there a self test available, also testing the SD card interface?

Hi,

I guess you are using the MCI slot. Did you download Atmels MCI example, yet?

with this you are allowed to have the card initialized and read/write single blocks.

Hi,

thanks for the tip. Meanwhile I found out that the WinCE card also contains a test SD Card menu, which was also not working. I exchanged my board and the new board is working fine. So it was some kind of hardware problem...
