I tried to use SAM-BA 2.6 to connect AT91SAM9261-EK but it was alway fail. If I use USB connection, my PC cannot recognize the USB device. If I use serial debug port to connect, "no valid process ID found" dialog displayed. Actually when power up the AT91SAM9261-EK, "RomBOOT" can be seen on the serial debug port. Is there any problem of my board? Thanks for your reply.

I am having the same problem, although the suggestion is not working for me. Windows is telling me it is an unknown device. When I uninstall it and then plug it back in, it doesn't ask me for a driver, it just again lists it as an unknown device.

I even tried manually updating the driver for that device, but it won't install the atm6124 files. What's annoying is that the FIRST time I connected the board, it recognized it as an ATMEL board and asked for a driver. I didn't know which driver to use at the time, so I just canceled it, thinking I could come back... any suggestions?

Thanks.

Hello budhe888,

If you are under Windows XP, go to My Computer/Properties. In the Properties Window, go to Hardware tab and Device Manager.

Now, choose the one that makes the problem and remove it, after having unplugged your card. Stop Windows XP, plug your card and start again Windows XP, it must ask for your card driver.
