Hi,

I am using Atmel AT91CAP9A-DK Board, I am new to this board, and I am struggling how to use it .

The first problem is ..

When I connect the board with the US through the SAM-ICE then the following error is beong popped up ..

Bad JTAG Communication; write to IR: expected 0x1 , got ox0 (TAP Command :12) @ off 0x14.

Secondly when I tried connecting the USB directly to the board then It is showing that it was unable to recognize the port.

Moreover when I click on the SAM-BA 2.8 then in the Select the connecton Tab there is no choice of selectin the \lin\ARM0 it is showing only COM3 ..

And if I press connect then the following error is produced

No valid processor ID found.

I am using the software ... AT91-ISP v1.12 and J-LINK ARM v3.6a , SAM-BA 2.8

I hope so any one solve my problem ..

Waiting for a reply..

Thanks .
Srinath.

Hi,

Could any one help me out on the flow description of AT91 CAP-DK board ...

If I like to program it for the Debug Unit . What are the registers that I need to configure.. Who will configure the register values whether the processor (SW) or we have to handle to register values (By HW) ??

If there is a complete flow diagram on how the program moves it would be very much helpful for me to proceed ...

Please let me know if there is any document available ..

The document on the AT91CAP-DK is very wage .... did not stress much on the flow and programming using the verilog ...

So , I need guidance on that ...

I am using the latest Segger software and I still get "No valid processor ID found." When I start J-Link GDB server I dont have any communication errors. The processor ID is displayed with no problems. Yet any time I try to use SAM-BA with /jlink/ARM0 I get the same "No valid processor ID found"
