Hi,
I ran buildroot and it build successfully for the setting for the new EK board. I start off with the AT91SAM9G20DFC_config.

It built the U-boot image, the Kernel uImage, and built an jffs rootfs.

However, when the kernel boot using the rootfs, I see this:
VFS: Mounted root (jffs2 filesystem).
Freeing init memory: 124K
Warning: unable to open an initial console.

I can't get to the login prompt.

Anyone seem somethin simular? or have any suggestion? Thanks a lot.

I ran into this problem because the mkfs.jffs2 tool compresses the image by default. If you do not have compression support enabled in the kernel, then you run into problems like this. Either build the jffs2 file without compression or add the compression support to the jffs2 driver in the kernel.
