Hello,

I am trying to bring up my own board based on AT91SAM9263EK board. My board is almost identical to the EK board only difference
is I am using 16.0MHz crystal in place of 16.36766MHz crystal. My board is not responding to SAM-BA, No RomBoot > prompt appearing
on the hyperterminal. When I checked on the Scope I found that the 16Mz crystal was not producing oscillations the 32KHz crystal is working
fine. For the PLLs I have soldered RCC valuse as told by FAE.

I have tried almost all the tests and checks the FAE told me. So finally I am trying to compare the power up sequence of the EK and my board in
a stepwise manner so that I can figure out the difference between the two boards and sort out that problem.

I searched a lot in the forum and on the net but could not find a document about the boot ROM or the complete power up sequce of the board.
What does the boot ROM do :?: (ATMEL advertises it so much ,128KB Boot ROM !. But which cannot be modified by the user and nobody knows what it does and how)

Can anybody please put some light on Boot ROM so that I can figure out the problem with my board.

Regards,
Devendra
