Hello,
I try the linux kernel 2.4.27 and ramdisk in the site ftp://at91dist:distrib@81.80.104.162/Li ... 1RM9200-EK ,
i download the kernel and the ramdisk :

Uboot> tftp 20200000 linux-ek
TFTP from server 10.23.92.10; our IP address is 10.23.91.10
Filename 'linux-ek'.
Load address: 0x20200000
Loading: #################################################################
#################################################################
########################
done
Bytes transferred = 783992 (bf678 hex)
Uboot> tftp 21400000 ramdisk_minimal
TFTP from server 10.23.92.10; our IP address is 10.23.91.10
Filename 'ramdisk_minimal'.
Load address: 0x21400000
Loading: #################################################################
#################################################################
#################################################################
#######################
done
Bytes transferred = 1112544 (10f9e0 hex)

and when i boot kernel with bootm command, the result is:

## Booting image at 20200000 ...
Image Name:
Image Type: ARM Linux Kernel Image (gzip compressed)
Data Size: 783928 Bytes = 765.6 kB
Load Address: 20008000

According to the documents I found, you should be loading at 21000000, not 20200000:
>tftp 21000000 linux-ek

The AT91 website was just updated with new info for the EK board. Look here:
http://www.at91.com/Pages/gettingstarte ... step3.html

Also, did you update UBOOT to 1.1.1???

I don't know anything about 1.1.0, but I know that the 0.3.0(?) version that was pre-installed on my board would not write to the flash.

I was able to boot up without a keyboard installed on the dev board.

Make sure all the environment setting are correct, expecially "bootargs". First time I tried I had initrd=0x21100000,60000000 when it should have have been 6000000 (one less zero). Follow the instructions at the link I posted above exactly. That worked for me.

The problem was the version 1.1.0-pre0 of u-boot. I upgrade u-boot to 1.1.1 and the kernel boot but i see on the screen of the board and no on the RS232
Thank for alll
