Hello,

I`m new here and I have little problem. I`ve loaded the linux_demo from the SAM9260 cd-rom on my AT91SAM9260 ek and don`t know how to erase it. I would like to re-board the delivery status. What can I do? Since the Inatallation of this demo, the usb wouldn`t be recognized and I can`t use SAM-BA.

There is a BP4 method to erase the dataflash in the AT91BootStrap. ie Press BP4 on boot to erase the dataflash. You should always implement a trap-door method to gain control of the board

You could use the serial port or JTAG. You could try the BMS jumper. The nuclear option would be to use a SAM-ICE and JFlash.

You could use the uBoot prompt.

It can be a battle sometimes, try different versions of SAM-BA.

If the BP4 function does not work, you will need to physically disable the Flash Memory. There is a 0 ohm resistor on the CE line of the Flash. Remove the resistor and replace it with a jumper. Leave the jumper off when you power up the board and you should be able to connect with SAM-BA. You then need to put the jumper back in to be able to erase and reload the Flash. On the EK baord, the resistor R36 is on the NAND CE pin or R40 is the DATAFlash CS pin.
