hi, i am trying to get familiar with arm9 of atmel. by using SAM-BA i sent some example of atmel package for 9260 but no program worked, i sent sdram program to sdram its not working too.

is there any jumper selection needed to change to boot program?

No, but you need to tell SAM-BA to "Send Boot File"

You could try NAND. You could try an AT91SAM9620-EK board.

You should also check the BMS pin/jumper state to confirm you are trying to use BootROM and not an external NOR Flash.

You should also be able to load and run code in SRAM or SDRAM from SAM-BA. You can do similar things from Keil using a SAM-ICE/J-LINK.

Have you built the AT91BootStrap project? The dataflash version for the 9260-EK should be quite close to your board I would presume. Compiles with GCC/make.

How about the getting started examples for the 9260-EK?

Sure, I could probably mash up a DBGU Hello World example project in Keil, but that would presuppose you have uv3, and your board is materially similar to the 9260-EK.

hi, i forget yopu tell one big problem , i sent boot file to dataflash and got boot up and now i cant access the samba. how can i earse this file from dataflash to load samba again?

On the AT91SAM9260-EK you'd press the BP4 button to erase the flash.

Alternately you can break the CS connection to the data flash part, presuming you have a jumper or series resistor you can remove.

You might also be able to wrestle it via JTAG depending on your tools/experience.
