Not detected by whom/what? Please be more specific.
Be aware that the MMC socket shares some pins with the Ethernet MII on the 9260-EK board, including the data bit 3 / card detect signal.
If your 9G20 was actually on a rev C/D 9G20-EK board, and not on a 9620-EK board, this wouldn't be as big a problem as the MMC lines are not shared with the MII by default. You might be able to hack this into working, but the Ethernet may not work, or require different configuration.
The manual for the 9260-EK *DOES* indicate how this stuff is wired, and through reading would be recommended.
