Hi!
I'm quite new to microcontrollers and this is my first project. I am trying to show GPS coordinates on a Nokia 6610 LCD screen.

I have been able to get the LCD up and running by making use of the 40-pin ext_connector on the board and pulling out the required pins ( pin 1, 40, 5, 7, 9, 21, 23 and 20) using wires. My GPS-MOD connects to the UEXT port but i don't know what pins and registers to use in connecting to the LCD so data whatever data that is received by the GPS is shown on the screen.

Can any one help me out with this. Please remember I am new to all this and I will really appreciate any help no matter how simple or obvious it might seem

The GPS Receiver is going to be sending you NMEA data strings via the serial port.

You'll need to extract and decode that data, and then print that on the screen. It's not going to provide pictures/maps/navigation on the LCD screen directly.
