Hi,

I tried to connect with SAMBA 2.9 Sw with my targe board to AT91SAM9260EK Series, using the Serial Debug port or USB,

But it gives some error while communicate with my target board it says that
"No Valid processor ID found"

- and then evaluation target board also not respond through serial port!!

- Is the New processor comes with builtin Rom boot or not?

- is it require any special device or security ?

Thank you!!

They all come with RomBoot, but if it finds what is thinks is valid code on NAND or Data Flash it's going to go off and run that instead, and not give you access via SAM-BA. If this is the case you'll need to break the CS connection to these chips, or use the SAM-ICE/J-LINK Connectivity.

Check also the BMS jumper. It will defeat the ROM.

If using Win7 or Vista, you should probably start by trying SAM-BA 2.11

This is a pretty classical error one can get from SAM-BA, reset the board, try again, try different connectivity modes, repeat as necessary.

Thank you!!
Yes working with SAMBA2.9 through JTAG, Also Romboot is responding for Serial port /USB, when the Data flash Chip select (NCS0/NCS1) make it high only. While BMS Jumper is open.

Still when download with SAMBA 2.11, showing error RTCK require or time out.

Is SAMBA 2.11 requiring TCK and RTCK clock pin need to connect ARM9 Processor or just loop back (Micro JTAG)?

Thank you very much
