arm linux serial console problem

arm linux 2.4.19-rmk7 for AT91RM9200 serial console cannot accept input to login,why this happy,could someone give some suggection?

I take it that linux boots and you get to the login prompt but nothing happens when you type something from your terminal program, is this correct?

If so maybe the issue is with your terminal program, try setting flow control to none on your terminal program.

yes ,set setting flow control to none will work OK,
