Hi all,
I have developed a custom board on AT91SAM9261, which is based on AT91SAM9261-EK RevD schematic. I am using SAM-BA 2.4. I have made a small change in the schematic. I used Micron's Nand Flash instead of Samsung's, as I did not get the Samsung's IC. When I tried to execute the NandFlash Init script, it is giving me an error stating that "manufacturer not supported".
Kindly let me know what I should do to make it work...
Regards,
Balaji.V

Hi all,
It detected the Micron's Nand Flash. The ID read is "2Cda". '2C' means that it is Micron's Part and 'da' means that it is 256MB. Initially it was mistakenly read as "2C01" and "0018". It sometimes reads the same thing. I dont know why. Kindly let me know if somebody faced the same problem.

Regards,

We have designed a board with AT91SAM9XE512-ek chip with Micron 16 bit nandflash (MT29F2G16AAB)
for which the nandID is 0x2cca.

1. When I read the nandflash Id thru latest ATBootstrap code, the nand id is
read as 0x2c01.

2. when I use nandflash applet in isp-projects and when I give Enable nandflash
option in SAM-BA the nandflash id is read correctly as 0x2cca.
erase option and write file option is also working correctly

Why the bootstrap is reading 0x2c01 instead of 0x2cca ?
and Iam wondering how the nandflash applet is reading correctly

Can Somebody shed some light on this issue..
