Android 2.0.1 API 6 Samples

Curently Android 2.0.1 (API level 6) is the latest version supported for the AT91SAM9M10-G45-EK.

This SDK is listed as obsolete but is supported at Android developer site:

http://developer.android.com

The samples for "android-6" are not listed. The samples for "android-7" and "android-7" are present but not all of the examples run under API level 6.

Does anyone have a link to the Android-6 samples?

Android 2.0.1 = Android 2.1
So API 7 is you need.

That's good news!

I am digging into the logcat output and it looks like the problem is due to the camera being missing.

Has anyone modified ApiDemos to not require a camera?

The "ApiDemos" from the API Level 7 samples will work on the AT91SAM9M10-G45-EK running Android 2.01 if the camera function is removed. I was able to do this by opening the ApiDemos Manifest and making these three changes:

1. Remove .graphics.CameraPreview (Activity) from Application Nodes.

2. Remove android.permission.CAMERA from Permissions.

3. Remove the two lines with "android.hardware.camera" from the AndroidManifest.xml file.
