Dear AT91 Users,

Here is a Presentation about Flash Programming Solutions for the AT91SAM7S Series, AT91SAM7X Series and the AT91SAM7A3. It shows different ways to Flash your Application during the Debug phase and during the production phase of your system.

Update on June 09 2006 v1.3:
- AT91-ISP Toolbox (AT91Boot_DLL.dll)
- AT91SAM7A3 Flash Programming
- Programming Tool Vendors List

Cheers.

Works fine for me. Using Adobe Acrobat version 5.0.5

It is a 26 page document.

Where's the beef? This is a high level glossy and does not give any technical detail.

I received a private email asking what "beef" I was looking for. I am looking for all the technical info on how to use the various programming methods. My point was that the information in this document is strictly sales oriented with virtually no technical content. It shows high level overviews of the various programming methods and provides no links or other way to get more info.

It would be nice if someone on the AT91 site organized the various app notes and other information available in a form that was oriented to the problem being addressed. That Atmel web site just lists all the information by title and leaves it up to the engineer to go through the entire list looking for info that may or may not be relevant.

When I searched yesterday, I found some dozen different documents (not all on the app notes page) that contain information useful to the issue of using the DBGU port in my application. I could have saved an hour or two if all this information was under one heading, "Using the DBGU port in your application while retaining SAM-BA capability".

... I still am not certain that this won't cause a problem down the road. I am meeting with an FAE today.

The file is definitely ok. Those receiving errors should upgrade their Acrobat Reader to the latest version. If problems persist try downloading using a different browser.

When I get this problem downloading files it is usually because the file did not download completely. I don't know exactly what causes this, but it is not the browser (or acrobat). I suspect it can be a problem with a short timeout at one end or the other combined with excessive traffic at some point in the path.
