Hi,
I would like to know if there is a port of this rtos for the eb55 ?
I saw some ports for atmel mcus, but not for the arm7 family.
Is anyone working on it ?
Thanks in advance

Yes, there is a uC/OS-II port for the EB55. In fact, we wrote AN-1155 whcih you can download it from:

Luis,

I was able to get the Micrium port running on the EB55 using the free IAR 32k limited compiler with no problems. Let me know if you run into any trouble.

Thanks for the App Notes Jean.

Regards,
Ryan.

Hi

Thanks for the app note Jean.
Ryan, the compiler that you used is only for windows, or I can run it from linux ?
Can I use the gnutools (compiler/binutils) with UC-OS ?
Thanks in advance,
regards

Hi Luis,

As far as I know the IAR Kickstart tools are only for Windows. You should be able to get the port running with the GNU tools (arm-elf-gcc and friends) on Linux. There is quite a bit of documentation out there for the arm-elf tools. It's on my radar screen to do this myself, but I know I won't get to it for several weeks yet. If I make any progress I will let you know.

Ryan.
