Hi

The gadget device driver only works after the Host USB device has been activated and a device like a pen driver being inserted in the USB Host conector.

If I deactivate the USB Host capability in the Kernel configuration the USB gadget device does not work.

HAs anybody had any kind of problem like this ?

I'm not completely sure but,
If your hardware has Analog Switch or Power Switch to pass between USB Device and Host, it is possible to faced with collision. Maybe your hardware configuration state not changed after kernel configuration and still selected host.?
