802.11 with 2.6

Sat Mar 04, 2006 6:56 pm

We're using a custom board based off of the AT91RM9200-DK. I was able to get 2.4 to run properly, but there seem to be a few differences with 2.6. Are there any tutorials on setting up the system to run an 802.11 card? Can anyone offer some help?
Right now I have pcmciautils running and I can see the card using pccardctl, but it isn't binding to a driver. If I get it to bind to a driver, should it be configured as ETH1?

Ok. I have the 802.11 card binding to orinoco_cs and I can set up eth1 using ifconfig. When I try to ping another system, it doesn't seem to do anything. If I run ifconfig, I don't see any RX or TX packets. Any ideas?
