Download buildroot from uclibc.org and then
configure it to generate a JFFS2 file system.
There are issues with some application packages that
can be built with buildroot.
Buildroot has hardwired which version of the package
should be used, and sometimes you have to update the version number.
If you only enable busybox, then it will probably build without problems.

how to make jffs2's rootfilesystem?

Thu Sep 14, 2006 10:30 pm

Hello,
I have the same problem on a customize AT91RM9200 board
I use buildroot from uclibc.org and compiling it and I get a JFFS2 file system
I use u-boot 1.1.4 and kernel 2.6.17
But I don't know to make it boot from flash

What I have to put ont the bootcmd parameter to boot the kernel and the file system ?

How to manage the mapping of the flash ?

Thanks
