Bad header Checksum

Wed Dec 20, 2006 12:56 pm

Dear Members,

i'm trying to port linux-2.6.18 into my custom design AT91RM9200 Processor board. I'm following the AT91Rm9200Ek design.

i'm using u-boot to port linux image.

I downloaded linux uImage into Flash 0x10080000 loacation. then trying to boot linux from flash.

U-boot> bootm 10080000
Bad Header Checksum

U-boot> iminfo
Bad Header Checksum
U-boot> imls

..... showing nothing

What could be the problem?

Please help me.......

Thanks in advance

Kernel panic - not syncing

Thu Dec 21, 2006 4:15 pm

i solved the problem changing the u-boot memory mapping. Problem is because of Flash Memory overflow.

Now i'm facing another problem
If i give "bootm 10080000" command kernel is loading but i'm getting the following error message.

RAMDISK: Couldn't find valid RAM disk image starting at 0.
No filesystem could mount root, tried: ext2
Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(1,0)

Please help me ... how to solve this?

Thanks in advance
