Build kernel standalone & itb format

Tue Nov 06, 2018 11:12 am

Hello,

We need to compile kernel 4.7.10 with at91 sama5 ek1 board. (the reason for using 4.7.10 is that trying to apply latest grsec 4.9.x on kernel fails).
I am not sure if this can be done in buildroot (?) becuase buidroot uses latest kernel.
So, we try to build standalone according to wiki:

Unfortunately, the wiki does not mention how to create itb image... (we see that itb is in the demo image on sd card). Should I use other format (like uImage/zImage) ?
If not - can someone please say how we should create itb image ?

I also search the its file in buildroot folder, but did not find it.

Thank you for any idea,
