JTAG with SAM-BA 2.8 and AT91SAM9G20 or AT91SAM9260

Hello,

I need help to conect SAM-BA 2.8 to a AT91SAM9G20/AT91SAM9260 via JTAG (Segger JLink).

Attention:
The AT91SAM9G20/AT91SAM9260 is clocked via an 18,432 MHz oscillator (no crystal) !
An externel 32 kHz crystal is used.
Booting from internal ROM - All flashs are empty.
AT91SAM9260 - Rev B.
AT91SAM9G20 - Rev B.

I modified the lines in board_lowlevel.c (in folder "C:\Programme\ATMEL Corporation\AT91-ISP v1.12\SAM-BA v2.8\applets\at91lib\boards\at91sam9260-ek" and "C:\Programme\ATMEL Corporation\AT91-ISP v1.12\SAM-BA v2.8\applets\at91lib\boards\at91sam9g20-ek":

Code: Select all

    /* Initialize main oscillator
     ****************************/
    AT91C_BASE_PMC->PMC_MOR = BOARD_OSCOUNT | AT91C_CKGR_MOSCEN;
    while (!(AT91C_BASE_PMC->PMC_SR & AT91C_PMC_MOSCS));
to

Code: Select all

    /* Initialize main oscillator
     ****************************/
    AT91C_BASE_PMC->PMC_MOR = BOARD_OSCOUNT | AT91C_CKGR_OSCBYPASS;
Then I compiled the both external ram binaries:

I enter the folder "C:\Programme\ATMEL Corporation\AT91-ISP v1.12\SAM-BA v2.8\applets\isp-applets\extram" and type:

Code: Select all

make CROSS=<Path to Codesourcery´s CrossCompiler EABI> CHIP=at91sam9260 BOARD=at91sam9260-ek MEMORY=sram_samba DYN_TRACES=0  clean all");
and

Code: Select all

make CROSS=<Path to Codesourcery´s CrossCompiler EABI> CHIP=at91sam9g20 BOARD=at91sam9g20-ek MEMORY=sram_samba DYN_TRACES=1  clean all");
I copy the both new files to the folder "C:\Programme\ATMEL Corporation\AT91-ISP v1.12\SAM-BA v2.8\lib\AT91SAM9260-EK" and "C:\Programme\ATMEL Corporation\AT91-ISP v1.12\SAM-BA v2.8\lib\AT91SAM9G20-EK".

Then I enter sam-ba.exe and try to connect via the jtag interface - it doesn´t work.
If I have a look in the logfile I see, that I wasn´t able to read the chip ID ????

What´s wrong ?

Thank you
