Post kernel initialization error. Busybox init?

Fri Dec 23, 2005 8:28 pm

I compiled 6.2.14 kernel with a patch from maxim. I also created a ramdisk with busybox and I added glibc 2.3.5 libraries in /lib.

My kernel boot parameter ends with init=

I have tried two different versions init=/bin/sh and init=/linuxrc

If I use init=/bin/sh, the kernel loads but none of the devices are availalbe in dev.

If I use linuxrc, kernel spits out message and hangs up. I get "Warning unable to open an initial console"

Thank you for your help,
