I was just woundering about the kernel command that you can compile in to the kernel in the boot options section of the kernel configuration, to get the framebuffer to work you have to put the command vga=xxx put when i remove it the framebuffer still works?
If i run it on a pc the only way to get the framebuffer to work is by vga arg to the kernel.
This is maybe not the most impoting thing but I am writing a how to for my job so it would be nice if I knew why this differ from pc to arm since I am using the same kernel on both the systems but with different pathes.
