can not use usb mouse in QTdemo

can not use usb mouse in QTdemo

i download a prebuild image "" from, than i run the demo in my sama5d4_xplained board,but found my usb mouse cant work,i try to add "export QT_QPA_GENERIC_PLUGINS=evdevmouse:/dev/input/event1 "(event1 is my usb mouse device ) to /etc/rc5.d/S99qtdemo ,still cant work.

so how to use USB mouse for input ?

Is you mouse send events? You can test it with evtest and select the proper input. If you see events coming it means that the kernel behaves correctly. If not, then the HID driver is probably missing.

I am also wanting to use the mouse to move in the demo on the sama5d4xplained 6.0 demo.
I don't have a touch screen and using HDMI.
There is no cursor.
I have tested that there are mouse events generated.
I have done an export as shown above, but not sure if that is relevant or necessary.
If you have any ideas please let me know.
Is the mouse supposed to work within the demo?
