Is the DFU protocol a standard? If so, I have found a Linux DFU (usbdfu.c) module for the at76c503 that might work. It would need to be modified with new firmware data. I was just curious if other changes needed to be applied to get this work or whether I needed to start from scratch.
Thanks

Hi Mike,
yes the DFU is a standard. Go to www.usb.org, then enter DFU in the search field.
Regarding DFU for Linux, see this post www/phpBB2/viewtopic.php4?t=65
This should help you.

Looked good. Downloaded compiled and ran without issues on 2.6 kernel. Haven't tested it yet as I don't have by boards yet. Thanks for the reply
Wow Linux runs on that little thing?!
