About the ATSAM3S8B Crystal Oscillator

Mon Oct 27, 2014 8:54 pm

I plan use ATSAM3S8B to do something. The official manual only shows up the connection schemes of 3 to 20 MHz Crystal Oscillator. I need to run 64MHz Crystal Oscillator. Anyone knows how to do it? The best is given the connection scheme.
Or the same as the connection scheme in the official manual?
Thanks.

Please refer to the data sheet and the schematic check-sheet for the Sam3S. 20MHz is the maximum external crystal you can attach.

This part has an internal PLL that can increase this to your desired Main Clock frequency.
