fatal no valid processor ID found

Hi all,
I'm a newbie in Atmel products and need your help.
I just receive my AT91SAM9G20-EK and try to use SAM-BA v2.8.
When powering the board, the leds are flashing normally.
I connected the 'serial debug port' of the board to the serial COM1 of my PC, with the cable provided, select the connection : COM1 and select your board : AT91SAM9G20-EK, then press Connect.
After 3 to 4 seconds the answer is 'no valid processor ID found'.
When I launch the HyperTerminal program, I see the message from the board at boot time 'rom boot, getting started project 1.4...'
Can you help me please ?

I think you must load boot code to your board first. Then SAM-BA can catch the board.

Return to “SAM-BA”
