Enabling UART1 in SAMA5d35 Development board

Thu Nov 07, 2013 2:45 pm

Hi list
I have been trying to enable UART1 on my SAMA5d35 development board.

I added the following lines to the
arch/arm/boot/dts/sama5d3mb.dtsi file.

Code: Select all

uart1:  serial@f8028000 {
compatible = "atmel,at91sam9260-usart";
reg = <0xf8028000 0x200>;
pinctrl-names = "default";
pinctrl-0 = <&pinctrl_uart1>;
status = "okay";
};
and I thought ttyS6 would pop up but it didn't. Do you have any idea what is wrong or how to solve the problem?

Regards

Thanks blue_z, I did miss that post. I will move the discussion there.
