SAMA5D4 PIOD port

Mon Jul 13, 2015 2:56 pm

Hi all,
someone knows as to use PIOD port (or other always-secure peripherals) on the SAMA5D4?
Seems that PIOD has been mapped as Always-Secure but the cortex-A5 should start in the privileged Supervisor mode in the Secure state (as reported in the Cortex-A5 Technical Reference Manual) and so kernel should manage the PIOD port.
But no appens if i set piod pin as pulled up or down in device tree and i have not access on it from the /sys/class/gpio/ directory.
I.E. if i try:

Code: Select all

echo 96 > export
result is:

Code: Select all

sh: write error: No such device
Anyone have ideas?
Best,
Stefano

Problem solved,
there is not a security relatd problem.
The only thing to do is add:

Code: Select all

ranges = <0xfc068000 0xfc068000 0x100
0xfc06a000 0xfc06a000 0x4000>;
in the sama.dtsi at the pinctrl@fc06a000.
