Jumping to Normal boot

Thu Apr 29, 2021 12:03 pm

Hi
Am using SAMA5D27 SOM1 EK eval kit and SAM-BA v3.5 . By using following command i was able to put the device into the secure boot.

Code: Select all

./sam-ba -p serial -d sama5d2 -a bootconfig -c writecfg:bscr:bureg0,valid -c writecfg:bureg0:SECURE_MODE,SDMMC0
But after that am not able to revert to Normal boot. it is always showing something like below on the console.
Can you please help me to ENable normal boot on the board using sam-ba or any other commands
```
RomBOOT
Secure Boot Mode
RomBOOT
Secure Boot Mode
```

There is no command, but it's a procedure.
The BSC_CR and BUREG registers are volatile and powered by VDDBU.
Disconnect all power sources including VDDBU from the SoC/SoM so that these registers can revert to their default values.
The SAMA5D27 SOM1 Kit1 has a jumper that can be opened in lieu of removing the battery/supercap.
