openwrt - SAMA5D3 Xplained

Mon Nov 23, 2020 4:38 pm

Hello,

I am trying to build the openwrt distribution (https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt) on the following Microchip SAMA5D31 processor (https://www.acmesystems.it/acqua) with the default settings.
With the debug cable connected, the information that returns to me is as follows:

AT91Bootstrap 3.9.3 (2020-11-20)

NAND: ONFI flash detected
NAND: Manufacturer ID: 0x2c Chip ID: 0xda
NAND: Page Bytes: 2048, Spare Bytes: 64

The software I am loading is sam-ba_3.3.1.

I need help to understand where the startup is failing.

Thankful,

What "default settings" do you consider appropriate to configure that module?

Don't you mean you're using the SAM-BA utility to install images to NAND on the target?
What images did you write and where in NAND?

Review the environment variables, especially bootcmd, in U-Boot.
