I just got a new Atmel SAM-ICE JTAG, I downloaded the J-Link software from http://www.segger.com/jlink-software.html and installed it on Windows 7.
When I ran the J-Link software, it said the firmware in my SAM-ICE was out of date, and asked if I wanted to update. I said yes.
After that it would no long recognise the USB connection "No emulators connected via USB ..."
I unplugged it and reconnected hoping that Windows would re-install the USB driver, but it doesn't recognise it at all, and it doesn't show up in Device Manager.
Have I just killed my SAM-ICE? As you can tell I'm new at JTAG stuff, so any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Joe
