Linux + Eclipse + JLink + SAM-ICE not working

Mon Mar 25, 2013 10:25 pm

Hello,

I am trying to get Eclipse to work with the SAM-ICE using JLINK on Linux.
It is communicating with an AT91SAM7x512

When I start the JLink GDB server it connects to my target. Then when I start debugging in eclipse it communicates with the JLink GDB server.
Connecting to target...
J-Link found 1 JTAG device, Total IRLen = 4
JTAG ID: 0x3F0F0F0F (ARM7)
Connected to target
When I start the debugging, I see the following in the JLink GDB server:
Waiting for GDB connection...Connected to 127.0.0.1
Reading all registers
Read 4 bytes @ address 0x00000000 (Data = 0xE59FF060)
Downloading 14984 bytes @ address 0x00200000
Read 4 bytes @ address 0x00000000 (Data = 0xE59FF060)
Setting breakpoint @ address 0x0020223C, Size = 4, BPHandle = 0x0001
Starting target CPU...
...Breakpoint reached @ address 0x0020223C
Reading all registers
Removing breakpoint @ address 0x0020223C, Size = 4
Read 4 bytes @ address 0x0020223C (Data = 0xE3A01001)
After that eclipse throws an error with "The program is not being run."
Below Thread[1] (Suspended), I get two message:
2 <symbol is not available> 0x00000000
1 <symbol is not available> 0x00000000

In the title of eclipse it says: "Debug - Source not found".

I have put the sram.elf files I build as input for debug, I tried the flash.elf files but they didn't work.

Can anyone point me to the right way?
