Err C++?

Wed Jul 23, 2014 4:39 pm

Hmmm, after spending some time trying to figure out what's happenin with my C++ files, I figured:

(a) duh, only C is configured by default; (b) /Tools/Options/Toolchain/Package Configuration looks like it has a way to select the cpp compiler (but doesn't actually seem to work), (c) this thread implying that cpp is a very non-trivial thang in AS6: discussions/viewtopic.php/p,36955.html#p36955 Really?AS6 doesn't really play well with cpp? There's some other unbelievably easy way to switch it on? Something else? TIA, Alan

Seems you will need a crowbar and a big mallet to have success with C++ and ASF. :roll:

Wow even the arduino boys have basic c++ - making asf + C++ difficult seems a curious choice of Atmel's?

I figured out how to start a project C++ with Atmel Studio 6.2.

You can have a look at my topic: discussions/viewtopic.php/f,8/t,23238.html
