Hi all,
I have not been able to flash any of the Atmel4SAM demos to my SAMA5D4-xplained board from my Windows 10 PC. I can successfully connect SAM-BA 2.16 to the A5-USB-A port (J11) but when i run the batch file from a downloaded demo the demo doesn't download and the log file shows that the expected argv 0 and argv 2 values are missing. Here is the log file:
-I- Waiting ...
-I- TCL platform : Windows NT
-I- SAM-BA 2.16 on : windows
-I- Retrieved arguments from command line :
-I- argv 0 : -x
-I- argv 1 : demo_linux_nandflash_usb.qml
-I- argv 2 :
-I- Connection -x
-E- Connection -x not found
-E- Connection list : {\USBserial\COM10} COM10 COM1
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

You should probably be using SAM-BA 3.x, which accepts .qml script files.
SAM-BA 2.x apparently only handles .tcl script files.

"Atmel for SAM" is a nonsense name. Presumably you mean Linux4SAM.manmad wrote:I have not been able to flash any of the Atmel4SAM demos to my SAMA5D4-xplained board ...
Older Linux4SAM demos had .tcl scripts for installation, but recent ones have .qml scripts.manmad wrote:Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Thanks blue_z, using the right file (.tcl or .qml) with the right version of SAM-BA makes all the difference!
I wonder why the later version of SAM-BA has dispensed with the GUI?
