Does the kernel configure videochip in at91rm9200dk?

What configuration does it use for s1d13806 by default?

What is common practice of configuring videochip with Linux?

I use 2.6.20 kernel version with patch for at91rm9200dk from maxim.

Thank you.

Hi,

have you checked in your kernel configuration that framebuffer support is enabled and the driver too? Can you see any output from the driver telling it's something wrong?

Yes, of course, kernel is configured, dev/fb0 exists.
Test program opens the device fb0.
That test program works under 2.4.27 kernrel but wiht 2.6.20 LCD screen is dark... I think that video chip simply doesnt configured for LCD by default.
There are a structure named s1d13xxxfb_regval dk_s1dfb_initregs in linux-2.6.20\arch\arm\mach-at91rm9200\bord-dk.c , I'll try to modify it today.
Thank you

Yes!!! It works now!

Configurate your LCD panel here - linux-2.6.20\arch\arm\mach-at91rm9200\bord-dk.c

structure s1d13xxxfb_regval dk_s1dfb_initregs

Thank you

Andrew
